John Zeigler
John Zeigler was hired as the Director of Development and Capital Campaigns at Messiah University in January 2022. In this newly created position, John is intricately involved with major gifts fundraising and the planning and implementation of future Messiah financial campaigns. He will work closely with both internal and external constituents to ensure Messiah continues to meet the university’s strategic goals and plans for success.
John comes to Messiah from Bucknell University, where he was a Senior Leadership Gift Officer in Bucknell’s Advancement Division. John has enjoyed a diverse career path, having also practiced law and been a head coach of men and women’s water polo at the Division 1 level. John is a graduate of Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA, and Widener University Commonwealth Law School in Harrisburg, PA.
John and his wife Lisa, Lisa Zeigler, are the parents of three daughters, Laura (Class of '25 at Messiah studying early education), Larissa, and Leah. They live in Mechanicsburg, PA and are members of Christian Life Assembly in Camp Hill, PA.
