Messiah University offers three Bachelor of Arts degrees: The B. A. in Music, which has two optional concentrations in Composition and Commercial Music; the B. A. in Music (Music and Worship); and the B. A. in Music (Business).
B.A. in Music
The Bachelor of Arts in Music offers each student the opportunity to further his or her musical studies in a variety of arenas. Students will gain broad musical knowledge, practical skills, and development of musicianship and technique through private instruction on a primary instrument. This degree is well-suited for those wishing to double-major in music and another field.

Music Composition
The Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in Music Composition immerses the student into the world of studying and writing music. The Bachelor of Arts of Music (Music and Worship) allows students to further their musical studies with an eventual goal of working in a church setting.
